    Dopey, what interest?

My post was a general statement without finger pointing.

Whether or not the budget goes through intact wasn't mentioned but past governments have continually altered superannuation until SMSF have emerged advised by accountants who try to keep abreast of policy changes.

The Australian government cannot continue to pay Australians for not preparing for retirement but clearly they have made the average worker confused and ignorant.

It's not the government but private individuals to look ahead thirty, forty years.

Also Hockey was asked about the mothballing of super funds so superannuants cannot access their funds until much later than 55 years.

He was reticent giving any detail but something must be done to lock superannuation into annuities, not subject to market interest rates, and deny access to super capital before or after the retirement age.

    An I being ambiguous?
