Seem to be a few plonkers on here trotting out the "he was only minimizing his tax line". Did it not occur to some that these rules are arbitrary and have been crafted to enable the mega wealthy and down the line to get away with blue murder. Govt's know that it is not in there best interests to challenge the wealthy.
Little wonder many low income earners ect dont effectively pay tax, the majority of the wealth and income is in the hands of a few at the top.
And we get clowns in here championing the rights of these chosen few who have lobbied to have and keep these rules that so advantage them in place. It may be a fact of life that it is how the game is played but no need to suggest it is a grand thing or in any way equitable.
