they can try and stall things on cockatoo and face legal action themselves to have their 50% clawed back in legal action in an Australian court as per JV terms, i doubt they're that stupid, they have the deal of a lifetime in front of them, they can get their money back and walk away OR they can backpay $20million and prepare to pay another $50million over the next 2 years in capex for stage 5..
