It seems that a big difference between the two of us is that I (and most of the scientific community) admit when we don't know, instead of making up stories to fill gaps for which there in no evidence.

The conclusion that you may agree with is that there is practically no common ground between us to discuss scientific topics. If you are prepared to accept that there is evidence for your canopy theories (I have seen your clip before) while rejecting the mountains of evidence for the theory of evolution then we, in more ways than one, occupy different planets.
