Interesting chart. How do you interpret MACD pintohoo?

Ahh septa well said. I guess dividends just feel like a reassurance of getting some money back in your pocket - but I would be comfortable receiving this if the company clearly had enough excess cashflow to fund all future mines. Like you said - if they need to go cap in hand back to the market then i would bitterly oppose paying a dividend just for the sake of it.
Anyhow, only the next few months will tell where we're going. Seems that coal has been dropping futher. I know the contract with Eskom has profit provisions includes to take account of price rises and margin erosion, but I assume surely it does not work in revese e.g. lower thermal coal prices currently, drop in contracted prices to Eskom?
