RC and the board have lots of plans in motion. Constantly brokering deals - at percentages that make the mind boggle - but deals nonetheless. The MD is a lawyer and this is what he knows best. It's what gets a lawyer excited.

But Mt Kitty is what gets a geologist excited. It's got a killer story and global potential. To be honest I am not sure why Central isn't screaming this from the rooftops. One possibility is that Central's board of lawyers just aren't passionate about making discoveries in the Amadeus, and would rather others made the discoveries for them with little oversight. That's pure speculation of course. It can't be easy for a small company like Central to balance this very delicate and complex metagame they have going across multiple basins. All we can say for sure is that not enough attention has been given by central to Mt Kitty given the amazing results to date. But as I said before, I am sure it has Santos attention.

What's more important is what Central should be doing about it now given their current situation. Mt Kitty has the potential to change everything. Speculator's royalty farmout idea isn't a bad one. Central would then have no commitment and huge potential upside from royalties. Actually there are royalty owners of CTP's ground that have this arrangement already, and I am sure would be happy to help central realise a similar deal with Santos.

On the other hand, Mt Kitty has been on the Central "to drill within next 12 months" list since they acquired the ground back in 2005. That it has taken them this long to get it drilled, and not even bothering to do it themselves, is an almost unforgivable transgression. Right now I think central should be doing their best to make everyone really excited about the potential of Mt Kitty. It's not about over-promising and under-delivering. It's about giving Mt. Kitty the attention it deserves after neglecting it for so long.
