Browse certainly ain't worthless but gas assets in this basin are very long-dated. Apart from Ichthys, discoveries have sat there in limbo for years. Woodside until last week favoured an Israeli development over a Browse ... now that tells me Browse is difficult, expensive and long-dated.
On Brazil, yeah it all sounds good, but Pacific Rubiales is as spivvy as KAR and I don't trust a word that comes out this JV.
... but yes time will tell. My broad brush stroke works for me - they are investment rules - and KAR is an avoid for me.
