I'm agreeing with you, speckyraider. I received an email and spoke to Alan from Lynas and both said it was based on closing prices. Alan gave me a little explanation of why they weren't using VWAP as well.
My Post: #10507550 I gave a guess of what I thought it would be as 'Average price 13.6 before 17.5% discount', using the exact calculation you did:
(0.11+0.12+0.13+0.15+0.17)/5
= 13.6c
before discount.
