Yeah I was meaning that the whole character of life has changed All the people who are out of work have cable and a car and spend their time in front of poker machines. It's a relative thing
If you compare Australia's poor against the USA or Asia it is a far different scene
But the people who are suffering or going to suffer are the people on a standard job with a few kids and a mortgage who are trying to make a life for them and their family.
These people would have been in the middle class 35 years ago and are now in the lower class, they still buy too many toys trying to keep up with the Joneses But if they are over leveraged they are in for a shock if the society keeps going down this path
As a senior citizen all I can say is that I have seen the best and Australia's glorious years are behind us so we have no problems but many others do and that trend will continue
