re: grades/tonnage/prices/demand/supply/profit Strike one-besides having a portfolio of only resource stocks, which has been the case for three years, am a mineral economist by profession.
Every conference I have been to for the past three years, (LME, Diggers etc), has been positive on copper. Sorry, go to the kitco site. Go back two years, look at the prices/LME stockpiles etc. Note the copper capital raisings for RDM, URL ,CUO, MRX etc.
Strike one stands.
Strike two-take the above copper stocks. Add in JML etc. Sorry, they all do geophysics-aero mag, ground mag, EM, IP, gravity etc. Black boxes have been around for a while. They identify structures and potential electronic responses-those responses tend to be iron orientated, therefore the structures may or may not be mineralised. (Eloise for example, was 400 metres away from the magentic high).
BLR is doing/has done nothing special that supports the tonnages guestimated. Strike two still stands.
Strike three.-mineral economics once again. Grades /depth/dilution/metallurgy-then why is Lewis Ponds not in operation?(TRO). You tell me of a 0.5m copper orientated polymetallic mine that started in the past 12 months
Strike three ,well and truly gonski!!!
Cheers,TAS
