My nephews and niece were put through private school by their parents. Who were/are taxpayers. My Brother-in-law drives a truck for a company, and prior to that he was a spray painter. She worked in an insurance office and as a cleaner to enable them to do this. I know of electricians, shop assistants etc doing the same as I type, some have more than one job each. The envy shown here is not Australian and does no one any favours. It doesn't matter who you vote for, if you want something work for it, if you truly want it you will find a way. I do not believe that any child or partner should be discriminated or punished for what the parent or spouse does.
