PCL's partner in block L6, FAR, released a presentation this morning.
Are there any geos out there, or anyone, that can shed some light on the following comment from this mornings FAR presentation.
Kenya Block L6
Core analysis completed this year proves 1,000m of oil shows through the carbonate reef in Maridadi-1.
The thing is, Maridadi-1 was drilled 32 years ago (in 1982), yet the above comment from this mornings FAR presentation says that there was core analysis completed this year?
I don't recall any past references to "proves 1,000m of oil shows" being attributed to Maridadi-1. So are they saying that the analysis done this year revealed the 1,000m of oil shows and that previous analysis from 1982 didn't reveal this (how is that possible?), or am I missing something?
