- People are not complaining that university isn't free. People are complaining about the deregulation of uni fees. If an individual goes to university and then proceeds to not work in the industry they have been trained in, they will still be paying back their HECS debt through their income.


"Hey let's graduate 10,000 Astronauts per year at a cost of of millions to the tax payer. Yeah makes perfect sense. NOT!"

- Your observation is that 90% of university students are a waste of space. As 71% of Uni graduates secure a full-time job within four months of completing their degree, they would be paying tax. I imagine that you equate tax to worth. Therefore your observation is unfounded and incorrect.
