you could have been making plenty of money elsewhere without sitting /waiting/hoping on HER, then joined in the action in the last few months when the zinc price went gangbusters. I know a few that did.

As to arrogance? Sure you dont need a PhD to be a good manager-but I don't need someone doing a cut and past job on people who have standard geological qualifications. Good manager vrs inspirational guru capable of transforming historic exploration in a revolutionary manner-don't think so.
