not sure about the conspiracy. you don't actually need a conspiracy to manipulate the market, just need to want to make money in a market which has certain characteristics...for the guys who have their ear to the ground so to speak...and a few more tricks up their sleeve which essentially mean they (and their can be any number of different players just playing for the profit gain) stack the odds in their favour.

Going to be interesting, and wouldn't it be an interesting day when the gold market becomes truly transparent..I'll wake up soon...
