Thanks Syndication, good on you for preparing that and interesting to read others views (albeit some may have multi-voted). Contributions like that and those of Ya and other LTers - BlackSwan, Golf, AustinNZ and many others. Its interesting that since we've stopped trading and lost certain day trader type posters the quality of the thread has improved. Almost starting to feel like 2010.. perhaps the SP can make a return too..

Personally I still think, as I've said before, BHP would do well to take Browse or even just t/o the company. They could get the lot for $8 right now and Mackensie wants O&G to be one of BHPs pillars. A BHP v Woodside auction would be my preferred outcome right now but failing that a good cash injection from Browse sufficient to fund Santos basin stage 2, Peru and avoid CR pre 2017 (~500m?) would be good. Getting to grips with Corporate expenses and option repricing is a must though.
