Well mike, seems Abbott cares about the polls, he had previously indicated he would go to a DD if he could not get the repeal of the CT through but with the polls as they are he has backed down and will not call a DD.
There is no way Abbott would call a DD but it is possible an early election could be called but that would be just for the house of rep's and not the senate
