    Successful real estate sales persons work 7 days a week and at least 10 hours per day with those hours being static to suit clients needs. These sales people become so successful that they have to employ their own PA to handle the workload.
    For every successful career sales person at least 6 to 8 fail in the first 12 months. Let me tell you its a very tough competitive game. Its not unlike milking cows, you have to be there in the morning and still be there in the evening or you fail. The average person on the street does not understand what is involved until they make the move into the real estate industry. Once involved they soon find out reality.
    Real estate agents with the triennial certificate are different to sales people as they control the worker bees in the hive. Six highly successful hard working bees in the hive is far better than having ten drones. IMO the licensed agents life is not so bad as long as they have well credentialed sales people.
