That's exactly right Zurich . Through the '70's the Age was a great paper full of cutting edge journalism and features.

I skim through it now and it's a complete rag . Equivalent to the Sun without the pictures but additional gossip and rumourmongering.

I don't know where it all went wrong with The Age ,the journalists they have on staff are the bottom of the barrel.

It's also now quite openly far left wing,no questions asked.

It's perplexing why it has to be this way ,even the non political articles are gossip drags at best
