It wasn't until the fifth hearing of the court that the following decision was handed down:
1. The originating process be dismissed.
2. There be no order as to costs.
GCN must have thought it had a very good case to persist so long.
Two things I wonder about. Does GCN now not have to pay any fees to the plaintiffs? What legal costs is GCN going to have to pay to its current lawyers for those five hearings?
Unless GCN conducted its own defence, their winning the case could prove a costly Pyrrhic victory.
Not that I expect GCN will tell its shareholders anything.
