"the Nazis called themselves "national socialist" but were in fact far right and under the Nazis Germany was a one party totalitarian state. That is the opposite to socialism.
They were far right mate....one of your mob.Own them and love them.
You talk about kids studying history that is about as basic in history as you get."
Not quite true simone.
For starters...
Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
National Socialist German Workers' Party
Now for a brief history lesson.
Fascism("right") and Communism("left") are the same. There is no dichotomy between the two. They are two variants of the same system, sold to the public as the only two opposing systems of choice. This was to stop any consideration of capitalism as an alternative. The only difference was that Fascism held the pretense of private ownership, while in reality it was still a dictatorship. Both Communism and Fascism has the output of labour and resources completely controlled by their leaders.
