Placement at 2.3c...
Now...this on it's own is not a problem, in fact it seems a pretty fair price to me, especially considering the sell-down below this level today.
What stinks to high heaven however, are the propping bids designed to create a false market prior to today's announcement...and in particular, the speed at which they were all removed at once just as soon as the placement had been finalised via today's announcement.
The 'u' bid at 2.3 (or was that 2.4?)...the 2m+ at 2.2...and several other larger orders, all vanished in the blink of an eye.
Surely, this stinks of manipulative practices?
Whta about it ASX...is this kind of thing illegal or not...or does it depend on who you are?
