reaper - the actual advantages of having a lower minimum wage require a bit of lateral thinking. It might just be the difference between a lowly paid job and no job, and the difference between getting a start on the employment ladder and not.
Also, a majority of people do not understand that the minimum wage flows into all awards, it's just applicable to those on the minimum.
However, anybody who talks like this is usually howled down :)
