You forgot to mention a few small things:
. Nearly ALL of what you referred to defined US society as of the start of Obama's Presidency; gun-toting racist society, massive illegal immigration issues - Mexico etc, ... . WARS in Iraq and Afghanistan that G.W. Bush committed the USA to fight. . The GFC whose pre-conditions developed on G.W.Bush's watch; RISKY lending, public and private indebtedness, property bubble, sharemarket bubble, opaque financial instruments, BIG 'investment banks' pulling financial levers, .... . The aftermath of Cyclone Katrina that G.W.Bush - a can he kicked down the road. . The abysmal FAILURE of G.W.Bush to address climate change. . Embedded FLAWS in the USA's financial system
Sadly for the World Obama will be remembered as the USA's President who had to clean up G.W.Bush's MESS and reverse the racism and wealth transfer that proliferated on HIS watch.
