re: shortselling by brokers/dwecke Dont be to concerned about this dweck because the brokers are not actually bearing the risk of the short sell; their clients are and they are making money from lending the money to short sell on the margin lending accounts plus the margins that are deposited and also they are probally running the market on both th ebuy and sells and receiving the brokerage commissions and even being used for the cfd market.
