I am happy to miss boats, trains and rockets in the spec world because I know value. Value is what I look for before even trading, let alone investing.

I have seen hundreds of stocks, have runs just like this prior to an announcement, predicated on macro-economic conditions but have poor quality deposits and its always buy-the-rumour, sell the fact.

I didn't realise all opinions were required to be positive or else undergo intense scrutiny, perhaps as an investor, you should scrutinize those who are 'ramping' more than those who are not, to see if the ramps have substance
