Throughout the whole ordeal Essendon have sought to mount a defense based on some sort of technicality, they haven't been able to defend the accusations of performance enhancement drug use by its players, sanctioned senior club employees. Essendon seem to pinning their hopes on a breach of process, but nothing changes the fact that they are guilty of not playing within the rules!
