I've been conducting some research over the past few weeks on Salt Technology. Here are a few links to articles that I thought you all may be interested in.
I highly recommend reading the first article below.

2. http://www.mobilepaymentstoday.com/articles/salt-technology-gets-more-than-a-dash-of-funding/
My objective with today's post is to draw you to the suite of technologies that Salt Technology currently have in place. The technology that's of particular interest to me and one that I believe will sweep the world by storm is Near Field Communication or NFC. As you will note from reading the patent below, this appears to be right up Salt's alley.

Mr. Brown, Salt Technology's VP of Business Development commented that he sees a strong synergistic fit with TSN. You will understand why once you've read his LinkedIn profile below.

For these reasons above, I would be extremely pleased if Salt and TSN formed a JV. The synergies are definitely strong, a collaboration that could be prove to be very strategic for both companies and extremely powerful due to the explosion of mobile-commerce.
