MAT has 144 million shares. SIR had 176 million when Nova was discovered. The Top 20 held about the same percentage. MAT has about 20% less shares than SIR did. While 20% doesn't seem a great difference, it will have a far bigger impact when demand starts to accelerate.
SIR was unknown. Now everybody knows about SIR and the explorers that have come after. I expect a lot more interest this time round for the next "SIR" sensation.
