I suggest Coolstocks that without reading further posts that may have answered your question the answer is very very well explained by Vontrader about 20 times...knock yourself out with his excellent layout of the chances.
In addition to that I like the idea that Mr Wall has himself invested $200 G on the odds of finding oil....that is a fine example of backing yourself ...no?
Further, on a matter of the Directors I would simply make the comment that initial comments I personally made regards their greed based on rumors emanating from (I think) the UK that I did so with the Question of " If they had taken some 15% of the company in free shares and options then that is greed at its worst example. Well it wasn't long after that we found out this is simply not true and I accept with full support that they have set their targets and share allocations with utmost responsibility and respect to Shareholders. I am very comfortable with the team in place and it has been a long time since I could say that, for what it is worth! We have just had responsible capitol raises purely due to the fact that the previous management left us exposed with a pathetically weak farm out with respect to the quality of the asset in Morocco. The Oz assets were beyond pathetic and at least they were a saleable asset but left to expire without a cracker.
As far as the price is concerned , again Vontrader has many many times explained that the issued 30 million shares were actually trading on market the week before last. The comment also that there are relatively few shares traded is simply a travesty as there has been higher daily volumes in last few weeks than previously traded in the history of the company.
Personally I think people can not quite get a true handle between the odds and getting caught with too much in. We all the thought for a while that the risk adverse poms would drag us along ...well no one wants to lose money and simple fact is that despite GALP assessment of 29% COS people are a bit more conservative these days. I hope the SP goes up with the ann of the spud though really dont know what the fuss is about for the inevitable. If it doesnt spud on time then hmm ..time for a belting!
Then with 3 wells in one and in concert of all the other inputs regards Cap Juby and the geological data, relationships etc I would like to unload a few at 35c though hey if it doesn't get there I am ready to take it like a man if it is not successful ...by the way so is Wall y
