Once again we have an unfortunate thread which denigrates a whole religion because of the action of just a few. In this country the vast majority of Muslims are law abiding, productive members of our society yet time and time again these threads are filled with blatant hatred of anything Muslim at all.
We don't direct hate the Catholic church because there are a few child abusers. We see the problem as it is, and then attempt to alleviate by identifying and removing the miscreants. We don't hate the Catholic church because it stops us, through the power of its political lobby from having same sex marriage or euthanasia of terminally ill people even though a clear majority of the Australian population are in favour of these things.
.When it comes to Muslims however the rules seem to change. People here overlook completely the contribution and harmlessness of the vast majority of Muslims and spew forth a load of negative nonsense about them.
I think it's time for HC to step up to the mark and disallow the kind of posting that is now a constant feature of HC perpetrated by... lets call a spade a spade...a bunch of bigots. We know who they are because they are serial offenders. The same people time after time.
