Hi jimmy just returned from meeting. Mark was overseas organising so linked via video. All very positive esp re graphene. He thought the movt in sp could be linked to more overseas interest post Manchester summit. Another such conference in Copenhagen (?) soon, not sure if he was presenting but he seems to have his finger on the pulse in this area.

The graphene was the big topic as it seems there is plenty of demand from all sorts and currently that was not fulfilled. Larger supplies would be welcomed. The applications for graphene were being actively explored and the outlook is very positive. It seems to be sold by private treaty so its pretty hard to get a handle on prices in large quantities and it seems this is the way it will be - only buyers and sellers privy to full info. The industry is in infancy.

The quality of the graphene appears high and the extraction process simple (only in terms of hours). Seems that 10-20% of the graphite will convert to graphene. He said they were being conservative yet and could only give a range. Scoping study results around Sept (don't quote me on that - could be wrong), so much info and on video link. But they are going to build pilot plant and trial mine for next year. A few steps to go thru - mining lease approvals would be 6-9mths and maybe its was 12mths till granting. So lots of work to be done, but it would seem we are in very capable hands.
