Yes Alan, many here forget that there was bipartisan support for an ETS when Howard was PM and had he not lost the election we would have it now.
Dilligent, do you not recall the 2010 hung parliament? I recall Gillard going into a meeting with the independents carrying a rather thick file, Abbott went in with a few pages. Looked like Abbott done little preparation and as Tony Windsor revealed basicly begged.
