watso simply wishes that everybody could simply happily coexist with everybody else - irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

we all know that skin colour is only skin deep - and by the same token, religious thoughts should only be skin deep.

watso was watching a tamil, and a Sinhalese (??) on tv - ok, they were both arguing the same point - and both from sri lanka - but why should there be a difference - after all, they have been sharing the same small island for donkey years.

at least watso has west european heritage, and the forebears have been bonking each other (different countries) for donkey years - and when eventually they came to australia - they simply became australians.

watso is 100% australian - but when it comes to international competition, he is 100% australian first, but behind that, he vaguely supports his west european heritage.

lol - all a waste of time really as to who supports anything - after all, games are just games - win or lose, is really meaningless - but there is a FEEL GOOD element in supporting a team.

watso has a favourite football team - but has got past the stage of being bothered if they win or lose.

years ago, watso would almost weekly go to the football - these days, he is only half bothered to watch a game on tv - so much so, that watso only watched the last half of the last quarter between west coast and dockers (or fremantle, or whatever they are called) - and watso only watched the last half of the last quarter, for no other reason than it was close.

oh well, people fork out money to watch the game, when it is free on tv - the expense being to watch a few advertisements
