Simplesimone, every time the personal attacks come it's apparent that the posters responsible are incapable of progressing discussion of the thread at hand without their perspective losing credibility. I've come to regard such personal attacks as a badge of honour and have a hearty laugh once it starts up.
Your rational responses are to your credit and in stark contrast to the denialist, diversionary tactics employed by some posters. Sadly some are more concerned about protecting Tony Abbott's political butt than they are about asylum seekers.
