It seems to be forgotten that AVQ have given the landowners what they have always wanted. ie. 20% ownership of the resource. If SMM win, will they offer the same deal. Not likely IMHO. They offered them 2%(from memory) back at the beginning of this travesty. SMM will never mine this resource as the weight of history is against them, their actions have offended local sensibilities, the Government has no say etc etc.
An AVQ win is what we and the local landowners desperately want.
We await the learned gentleman`s decision.
