Can you grasp this point: the poor and the disadvantaged are infinitely better off in a country with a healthy economy with minimal debt. Imagine in Australia that we were building a hospital every month instead of paying $1B interest on Labor's debt, 70% of which is going overseas.
The world is littered with Socialist economies, up to their necks in debt, frantically borrowing more and more to finance their inferior Socialist social policies. Their long term prognosis is disasterous
A SUSTAINABLE social policy is the aim of the Abbott Government and in the final analysis it is not only the best policy it is the ONLY realistic policy.
By all means bleat on about humanist values of the Left but please keep it real and acknowledge that the poor and vulnerable will always be better of under a Conservative Government with a strong economy.
