The plant is nearing completion. It has been a mammoth task. It looks as if the Rocklands South open cut is now also supplying ore. There is no confirmed date for sales. Any announcement on sales would need to come through an ASX announcement . John Green would only be able to speak in general terms otherwise. Good to see the progress . I am impressed.
When I look at other mining companies closing [ a fairly frequent occurrence these days ] ,I cannot but think how fortunate we are having invested in CuDeco.
CuDeco is a rarity these days . There are many more failures than successes in the mining field and , whilst being optimistic by nature, I can only repeat what I have been saying for over two years that the position of the junior explorers is grim and looks like remaining so for years.
Finance is the key to a successful mining operation and CuDeco has skilfully positioned itself over the years in not having to raise funds at low levels and the establishment of an office in China to source that money paid off handsomely.
Without it ,CuDeco would not be where it is today. It would be scrapping around chasing capital from a low base price and with heavy dilution. This is what is happening to the junior explorers . It never happened to CuDeco.
