    There has been a bit of a kerfuffle over here recently, as non PPOR residential is rated higher than PPOR property.

    There was no "law" that made it legal, so they wrote it into law very quickly.

    NON PPOR on land value is rated approx. 20% higher in Bruisbane CC and many other regions of QLD but not all.

    Its up to the particular council.
