Yeah, it's pretty normal these days especially. Speculators taking positions to try and ride the wave as it approaches target are disappointed more often than not these days IMO. In a bullish resources/energy sector, it can be a different story, but this is definitely not a bullish sector at the moment.
Given there's a roughly 80% chance the TPT well will be a duster, people will get cold feet as reservoir approaches IMO, particularly those who never intended to hold to reservoir and just wanted to ride the wave.
Which would make it rather amusing if it then hits oil, haha.
I'd never even heard of TPT before JKA started this merger nonsense. I never gave Tarfaya a chance but I recognise it was TPT's cash they were after, not its acreage. Then it all fell in a heap, and if Tarfaya is a duster that will be both companies stuffed.
