4. what was the quality of the information that altered the price by so much?
5. which information is ‘right’?
6. what is the motive for a stock ‘tipping’ newsletter to publish a bear article on a stock they don’t cover?

PS. My own opinion
no
yes, by -15%!!!!!!
MF article. Talk of T+3 traders closing positions is rubbish.
quality is subjective, but I have seen more thorough and balanced research here on HC.
neither, but the more thorough is where the money should be in a risk based approach.
the best question of all and a legitimate answer eludes! Oh hang on, maybe someone wanted to buy! Do you not think that MF monitors HC closely, and have probably been running their ruler over SBB for some time. In a counterintuitive way perhaps their half-baked out-of-place slamming of SBB is a vote of confidence – they have done their DD, are convinced of the case, want to get set with a mountain of stock before the rerating, so publish a bear article (knowing it will get online airplay outside their subscriber base, who don't even know the stock).
I hold.
