Yes I've had the same conversation with friends of mine who work in the sciences BD and they are vehement in their alignment with your viewpoint . Me ,I'm just a common sense sort of person ,I remain skeptical.

But the point you make is a very valid one . The people who've taken up the baton to prosecute the case publicly are either discredited for one reason or another ,or come out as total whingers who lack the skills necessary for compromise ,or worse still are just there for the political bunfight and to have their heads in the paper

I just sense lately that they're starting to lose the public battle and if you're right that's a shame.

Maybe it's time for a makeover in the greenie ranks because if you lose the public battle you lose everything
