I can't comment on new models, but I have been driving a 1990 Pajero for a long time. It's the V6 EFI petrol Superwagon model which being the top of the range came with all the extras. All round coils and suspension seats make for a comfortable ride on any road. Vehicle has done nearly 300,000km, still on the original motor etc with no mechanical problems. Get about 10km per litre on the highway and about 6km per litre in town. Off-road it is excellent as it is a real 4WD with limited slip diffs which a lot of 4WD's don't have. cheers Dave R.
