re: 4wd - time to bad them in the city
snorkels in the city, yes of course . City air is dirty, why inflict this crud on the beautiful v-8 engine. Get the intake up just a little above the average nostril at least. And as for bull bars, where does this hideous terminology come from. The protective barrier mounted ahead of the radiator and dare I say it the windscreen is properly known as a roo bar. For anyone who has actually taken their vehicle beyond the city clean up teams will appreciate, there is a fair amount of road kill out there on the side of the road. And rather on the side of the road than through the windscreen sharing the front seat with you. Anyone unlucky enough to have a traumatised wallaby disputing possession of the front seat will know what I am talking about. So what do the bleeding hearts want, that roo bars are taken off in the city limits and then put back on when the speed limits go back to 100 or so?? Good Grief. Could it be that the harshest critics of the AWD are really those that feel deprived????????
