A couple of fair points for consideration six20aus.

I do assume that most can read. However, if the posts of some this morning are evidence of their reading skills then I think that some do not seems to be comprehending what they have read very well at all.

And yes, the market "might" focus on the presumed delay in the DD results. Fair enough. Indeed, the market might focus on that "today" and maybe even "tomorrow" and the "the day after that". However, neither today, tomorrow or, in fact, the day after that, are my current reference points. The very short term may well constitute the event horizon for some. This changes their perspective from someone like myself. Therein lies the key reason, in my opinion, for the very broad difference of opinions that exists between posters.

Is the announcement tactical? I don't know because I didn't write it. Hopefully it is!

I can say that if I am invested in a company that employs tactics to preserve the value of the company then that's a good thing. At least from my perspective.
