years ago, was told by a so-called church (not the "church" that, the suppose-ed, jesus was referring to) elder that the eye of the needle was an historical gate.

am currently watching a patriarchal god organization
and is as often the case a lot of good stuff, as long as the core (most important) teachings are 100% in the wrong direction!
these larger patriarchal 'god' organizations are no different to companies that you see on disalloweds
they are targets for takeover by directors that are only thinking about one thing

be careful with the phrase "mere faith", because faith is a sliding scale, from blind faith, to rock-soild 100% dependable faith.
your comment is example of the former
it would have being better to use the term, "blind faith".

and also, for the sake of 'others', ddzxing should nearly no doubt, be knowing that there is no such thing as a Xtian - such a thing is an impossibility - therefore a conceptual dependently-arisen Xtian can never enter heaven.
unless, of course, if, the word Xtian is seen as to be referring to non-Xtian (if you know what 'i' mean)
