    OZBLUE,
Had the Queensland Government had in place a specific officer to handle the overall tasks needed to comply with the major mining Rocklands project then what has occurred with the railway facility may have been avoided. These things happen in the best of managed companies. It is not exclusive to CuDeco..
In recent times in Western Australia , there was the case of failure to renew a mining lease on time and a junior explorer paying and taking up the lease . It finished up as a court case with the West Australian Government siding with the big miner.. The case showed up the incompetence of the big miner which could have lost a major find, The rail facility incident pales into insignificance when compared to this.
The facts of the railway facility have not come out. Would not the two major companies Xstrata and MMG which became partners in the project have not checked the validity of leasing arrangements? They would have been very slack if they did not.
What is relevant today is that CuDeco is mining and, in due course, direct shipping ore sales along with native copper will occur and subsequent to that processed ore At that time ,you and I and other interested parties will know. The long term shareholders will naturally be interested when those figures are released. We know they are coming . The share price is a secondary consideration. The dividends for us are the reason we retain our shares. None of my family shareholders or associates have ever voiced concern as to the number of shares on issue. One did say some time back that should the company finish with three hundred million shares, he would be happy with that. Your figures show CuDeco is under that.
