I would have 3% of 79,000 = 2,370 kgs

Bottomline is that we might have a VERY serious money spinner for the aerospace industry ahead.
Its OK of course to talk to the airline companies on cost savings etc But if u wanna start making things happen faster in China where its all going to be centred initially, what PGM should be really doing is going directly to the regulators who can enforce such changes on fuel savings and enviro issues as well as cost savings.
And while you are talking to the Sino regulators who dont muck about with such things, same time you could be alerting them to the existence at Skaersgaard of Pd and other goodies, which they are already enforcing their car industry to increase the use of in catalytic converters to clean up their major cities" air pollution. The incidence of lung cancer and other lung diseases is skyrocketing in Beijing and other capitals and solving such has assumed urgent priority. Go to the regulators bro and they will do the "market development" for you.
