Waist size. Or waste? You raise a good point. Mine strip ratio is defined as the amount of waste removed in proportion to the amount of ore extracted. Under accounting standards the LOM SR is amortized, but of course under cash flow modelling the LOM SR often dramatically over or understates on a yearly basis..... just like a waist line during the festive season.

I prefer pina colada and walks in the rain. Guess i'm an old fashioned kinda gal.

PS. I don't recall many DFS estimates that have actually gone better than plan! Especially in base metals.
