IT HAPPENED and they got caught. You're labouring on the wrong point, the motive was the market misrepresentation, the funnelling of the funds was apparently a consequence of their initial actions. They did not think it through nor did they consider the tax consequences. They had embarked on a course of conduct over the years that put them in a desperate position that ultimately forced them to make a fatally stupid decision.
I don’t even know why I’m engaging you on this point.The tax point is IRRELEVANT. You have clearly misread my post which was simply to state my knowledge of what has happened in the past on another exchange so others are aware of the alternate reasons why directors may act. Its called knowledge sharing. AGAIN, I AM NOT SUGGESTING THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE!
So it appears that even if you take a neutral stance on this stock, you are going to be put in the same category of the negative posters and get trashed by the unconditional supporters. Good to know.
